Data Science Competitions and Hackathons
Here at Saturn Cloud, we are passionate about solving real-world problems through the power of data science. That's why we are always on the lookout for more opportunities to participate in and sponsor events that bring together top data science talent from around the world.
Over the years, we've had the privilege of supporting numerous data science competitions and academic institutions with NVIDIA, Neurips, Redis, Flatiron School, CFA Institute, MIT, and more. These events have not only allowed us to showcase our own data science capabilities, but also to connect with and support the next generation of data science leaders.
How Saturn Cloud Can Help
Saturn Cloud can provide free computing resources to participants. In the past, we've offered up to 100 hours per month or free GPUs.
Within Saturn Cloud's capabilities, you can also easily store details of a resource or an image in a file for later use with a Saturn Cloud resource recipe. This may be useful when you want to:
- Store how an analysis was run so that you can rerun it later
- Share details of a resource with a colleague so they can clone it
- Save a configuration so you can programmatically create a new resource with that configuration via an API
A resource recipe is a JSON file that stores all the details about a resource, such as the extra libraries installed, the number of workers of a connected Dask cluster, the git repos used, and more.
We believe that every team should have the tools they need to succeed, and by sponsoring access to our powerful computing infrastructure, we can give everyone a chance to shine.
We'd love to hear from you
We are always looking to get involved in more data science competitions and hackathons. If you are organizing an event and are interested in partnering with us, please don't hesitate to reach out. We can't wait to see what amazing solutions and ideas the data science community will come up with next!
