Titanic - Machine Learning from Disaster
Predict survival on the Titanic and get familiar with ML basics
Welcome to the Titanic - Machine Learning from Disaster Challenge!
Kaggle's Titanic ML competition is the perfect starting point for anyone looking to get familiar with Kaggle and machine learning competitions.
The task includes developing a model using machine learning to predict which passengers survived the infamous Titanic shipwreck. Although some people survived by sheer luck, certain groups had a higher chance of survival.
This competition challenges you to use passenger data, including name, age, gender, socio-economic class, and other relevant information, to build a predictive model that can answer the question: "which groups of people were more likely to survive?" Participating in this competition will allow you to develop and showcase your machine learning skills while exploring one of the most tragic and intriguing events in history.
